Terms and Conditions
The Kent
Recognition Club is to be managed at the absolute discretion
of Innovative Quality Management herein after called the
‘provider’.
Kent Recognition Club Units
When you join
the club your annual membership includes five units. You can
use these units how you wish to ensure that you benefit from
the range of support options that are available to you. Units
typically reflect the time your practitioner will spend with
you or you may enjoy added value on activities like the
workshops or IIP ‘mock assessment visits’. If you want one to
one personal support each unit will count as one hour of
consultation time.
Telephone ‘hotline’ liaison with your
practitioner
Up to your
first ½ hour of telephone responses are included in your
membership. We want to support you in the most effective
way. It may be that you want to contact your practitioner by
phone as well as, or instead of a personal visit. We are
happy to meet your needs. In the unlikely event that there
are additional telephone calls, these will be recorded in one
tenth of hour units and will at the end of each year period be
totalled up to the nearest full one hour. Of course if you
need more support from your adviser we are happy to respond to
this upon request.
Practitioner Review Visits
The
practitioner review visits will be arranged to respond to your
needs at any time (office hours) during your annual
membership. We always want to provide exceptional value for
money and take great care to ensure that the fees structure
for the delivery of our work is fair and transparent. The
membership fees are based primarily on the time spent working
on your behalf. This includes attending on you, time spent
travelling to and attending meetings and time spent on ‘desk
top work’ at our offices. Your annual membership (5 units)
includes for up to 5 hours. Any additional time incurred will
be recharged at the rate of £101.35 per hour or by agreement
with your practitioner.
Desk top review and pre assessment
preparation (three units)
This is a
chance for your Investors in People Champion or management
team to be guided by your practitioner through a ‘desk top’
review discussion of your current position against the
Investors in People Standard. It will be a time to identify
strengths and potential ‘gaps’ against the Standard. The
discussion usually takes about half a day. More time can be
allocated if required.
Investors in People ‘mock’ assessment visit
and ‘key points’ action report (five units)
A smart and
very practical mock Investors in People assessment with bite!
Your practitioner will interview a few of your people (far
less than the three yearly assessment/review) over about a
four hour period. You will then receive a sharply focused
bullet point report identify whether you meet the Standard and
those areas that need to be developed if not.
Personal practitioner advisory visit
(typically three units)
You may know
where your organisation would benefit from development but not
feel confident about how to improve things. Practitioner
visits are a cost effective, practical and supportive option.
Typically, this would be a morning or afternoon visit to
support you on a one to one basis or perhaps along with your
management team. Your practitioner has a wealth of tailor
made solutions to many of the recurring Investors in People
issues and will often be able to provide templates and known,
tried and tested solutions.
In-house manager development programme
(from five units)
Few
organisations have the same management team year on year let
alone every three years when your Investors in People
assessment/review is due. Your practitioner will be happy to
guide your managers through a detailed explanation of the
Standard and their role in it. It may be that areas for
development have been (or are) identified and this is a sound
approach to ensuring that your managers have the support and
knowledge they need in place to take corrective action and
exceed the Standard.
Workshops
There will be
at least four ‘public’ workshops each year (a given twelve
month period from
October to November).
We will seek your guidance on the topics you wish to see
covered and will respond to these wherever possible. Each
member organisation will be allowed to send one delegate on
workshops if they wish. Should an organisation wish to send
more than one delegate we would wish to respond to this
positively dealing with each request on an individual basis
and subject to availability. The costs for each further
attendee will be £125.00 (excl VAT) per workshop. An
additional place on all four workshops (in one given year) can
be purchased at £300.00 (excl VAT).
